Overview
Introduction
What AirTrail is and where to start.

AirTrail is a self-hosted, open-source flight tracker. You log the flights you take, and AirTrail draws them on a world map, keeps your flight history, and turns it into statistics. It runs on your own server, so your travel history stays with you.
You can try it without installing anything on the demo instance.
What you can do
- Log flights by hand or look them up by flight number, including seats, times, notes and custom fields.
- Import your history from MyFlightradar24, Flighty, App in the Air, OpenFlights and other sources, and export it again at any time.
- See it on a map, with recorded flight tracks and a choice of basemaps.
- Explore statistics and the countries you have visited.
- Share a read-only view of your flights through a public link.
- Share an instance with family or friends, with roles that decide who can see and edit what, and sign-in through your own identity provider.
- Automate with the REST API, or connect an AI assistant through the Model Context Protocol.
